Facial Features

This week, I practiced drawing various facial features.

Using the same drawing from last week, I tried out a different method of painting the figure's hair. This one is a little more vibrant, though I don't think it looks as good against the way the rest of the figure is painted.

These are studies of eyes from different angles. The first one was done entirely freehand, while the other three started with a spherical base first. You can really tell the difference just from the shading alone.

Various nose studies. Done at a few different angles and with varying degrees of hardness and softness to the structure to see how different noses can be made to look while still using the same basic shapes and lines.
