Facial Features and Hands

This week, I practiced drawing mouths, ears, and hands.

Mouths turned out to be really tricky for me. They're simple shapes, but currently I have a fairly hard time holding my pen steady when drawing digitally. I always have to go over the lines at least twice to make them look right.

Despite the fact that I don't have much prior practice drawing them, ears turned out to be remarkably simple to draw. You just need the outer shape, and then inside you have a sort of cartoon mushroom overlapping an apostrophe to create the lines for the inner ear.

Hands can be intimidating at first, but they aren't so tricky to draw once you know where all the joints should go. These hands, especially the ones on the top, aren't great, but I think they're still pretty good.
